Loot Rules in WOTLK

10 mans

10 man raids operate on a Roll system. Priority goes in the following order:

Main spec
Main -> Social -> Alt

Off spec
Main -> Social & Alt

If for any reason you are asked to bring an alt, regardless of spec, it will be treated as main for that raid. This only counts for their main spec, not their offspec. This is so that the crucial healer and tank alts who have often kept 10 man raids going can keep up in gear.

The decision of the raid's Master Looter (likely the raid leader) is final, however if you have a problem with it, please feel free to approach an officer.

25 mans

25 man raids are serviced by the Suicide Kings loot system. New members who start with us will be put onto the bottom of the list as soon as they've passed their trial. Socials will not appear on the list but are free to roll.

The loot distribution goes as follows.
First people who are on the loot list, full members only, are allowed to whisper for an item after which the highest person on the list is suicided. If noone suicides the item goes to Dual Spec roll. Only people with approved dual specs and people with the trial rank are allowed to roll. If noone rolls in the phase it goes to normal roll at which point everyone is allowed to roll.
